Trained Specialty: Kane is certified in both therapy and drug detection, and is believed to be one of only three dogs in the nation trained in both disciplines specifically for a school environment.
Primary Role (Therapy): Serves students and staff by providing stress relief, therapeutic support, a calm hallway presence, and engagement opportunities that foster social-emotional learning.
Secondary Role (Detection): Drug detection is primarily used for police patrol duties and serves as a secondary function within the schools as needed.
